About Me

Hey there, I’m Jack. Thanks so much for stopping by. I genuinely believe it’s important to connect with the person behind the lens, especially when you’re trusting them to capture one of the most special days of your life. It’s more than just footage — it’s your story, your people, and all the little moments in between. And since we’ll be spending your whole day together, it only makes sense that you get to know me a bit too!

So, here’s a little about me.

I’ve always been a curious and creative person, growing up with way too many hobbies (and somehow still finding time for most of them). When I’m not filming weddings, you’ll probably find me playing in a function band, sound engineering for an orchestra, or photographing swing dance events. Music’s always been a big part of my life — I picked up the guitar at 11, drums at 15, and for a while I was set on becoming a recording studio engineer.

Before all this, I spent 10 years as an electrical design engineer in the building services industry. I’m thankful for that career and everything it taught me, but it wasn’t where my heart was. Weddings don’t come with spreadsheets and formulas — they come with energy, emotion, and creativity. That’s the stuff I love.

Outside of work, I’m usually out walking in the countryside, chasing a new adventure, or travelling whenever I get the chance. Switzerland is my favourite place on earth, and paragliding through Lauterbrunnen valley is hands-down one of my best memories. Back home, I’m also a swing dancer and teacher. In March 2024, I helped start a non-profit swing dance company, where we run weekly classes and organise social dances with live music. It brings a lot of joy to the community, and I’d do anything to keep it thriving.

If you’re still with me, you might be wondering how I manage to fit wedding filming into everything else.

The answer is simple — weddings are at the core of what I do. This isn’t a side gig or a hobby, it’s my main focus and one of my greatest passions. I feel genuinely honoured to be trusted with such an important part of someone’s life. These films aren’t just for the here and now, they’re keepsakes for generations to come. Something to show your future kids, grandkids, and to remember the people who made the day so special.

So that’s a bit of my story. Music-obsessed, camera in hand, probably out on a walk or dancing somewhere. I’d love to hear your story too — and maybe help you tell it.
