Leah and Callum chose the beautiful Lillibrooke Manor for their wedding. Set on a private 15-acre estate with manicured lawns, a historic 15th-century manor house, and character-filled barns, it was a stunning setting to capture their day. Watch the trailer here.
Leah & Callum
From the start, I knew they were a genuinely lovely pair. Because of their jobs, it was hard to schedule a discovery call early on. Leah works as cabin crew and Callum is in the Royal Artillery, so they’re both often on the move. But even through their emails, I could tell they were warm and down to earth.
We went ahead and locked in their date and arranged a video call later in the year. That chat only confirmed everything I’d felt already. It turned out we’d actually crossed paths before — Leah and Callum remembered me playing in an acoustic duo with Laura Frances at Callum’s best man’s wedding earlier in the year. Their day ended up being a little reunion with Adam and Zoe too, and we couldn’t resist grabbing a selfie to send to Laura.
Heartfelt Letters That Had Everyone in Tears
I always recommend writing letters to read out on the morning of the wedding. It’s something I feel really adds meaning to the film, and Leah and Callum were already planning to do it. These moments were incredibly emotional — not just for the bridal party, but for the best man, the photographer, and even me behind the camera. What made it even more touching was how similar their letters ended up being. It felt like they were speaking straight to each other, even from opposite sides of the venue. It’s definitely a moment that’ll make its way into the highlight film.
Smiles, Smiles, Smiles
When I checked the forecast the night before and saw nothing but rain and the chance of thunderstorms, I’ll admit I got a little worried. But I had nothing to be concerned about. Leah and Callum embraced the weather without a single complaint. It’s something we Brits are weirdly good at. Leah smiled all day long. She looked so genuinely happy to be marrying her best friend, and even when they tried to pose seriously for a photo, she couldn’t help but break into a grin. It was contagious.
Royal Artillery
Callum’s ties to the Royal Artillery brought a really special element to the day. He and his best men were joined by his Royal Guard, who saluted the couple with swords after the ceremony and welcomed guests into the confetti line. It was a perfect way to honour his service. Despite the full uniform — which didn’t look easy to get into — and the challenge of mic placement, Callum stayed calm and relaxed all day. His energy helped keep everyone grounded. As Adam said in his speech, Callum really does light up every room he walks into.
Potter – A Family of Three
I couldn’t end this blog without mentioning Potter, their incredibly cute and well-behaved dog. It was clear how much it meant to Leah and Callum to have him there. Being a dog lover myself, I took every opportunity to give him a fuss. He completed the picture perfectly — a true family of three.
Leah and Callum, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your story. It was a day filled with joy, connection, and meaning. Rain or shine, it was pure happiness from start to finish — one I won’t forget any time soon.
